Reserve Policy

Purpose

This policy governs reservations for on-demand manufacturing campaigns launched by Disocy. It defines the activation threshold, the legal effects before and after activation, and the minimum contents that, when applicable, link a reservation to a future delivery. It does not contain operational refund procedures or logistics instructions: those matters are set out in the Refund Policy and the Shipping Policy.

Scope

Applies to reservations placed by customers through Disocy's official channels for on-demand manufacturing campaigns. It does not replace the Terms of Service, which govern ownership, transfer and legal effects of the digital component where applicable.

Applicable definitions

Applicable definitions

  • Piece: physical product manufactured by or for Disocy, which may incorporate digital identity elements.
  • Reservation: act by which the customer requests the conditional manufacture of a piece and, where applicable, makes a partial or full advance payment under the relevant campaign or ordering model.
  • Minimum threshold: objective condition that must be reached to activate campaign production, such as a minimum number of reservations or another published criterion.
  • DiD: where relevant, the digital identity system linked to the piece.

For the purposes of this policy:

  • Minimum threshold: the objective condition a campaign must meet to trigger production.
  • Reservation: a conditional manufacturing request that does not perfect the sale until activation.

Production activation and legal effects

  1. Prior to activation:

    • While Disocy has not communicated activation of the campaign, there is no obligation to produce or deliver the piece.
    • Amounts paid for the reservation remain linked to it until resolved in accordance with the Refund Policy.
    • The person who placed the reservation is entitled to receive updates about campaign status and activation communications.
  2. Production start:

    • An express activation notice from Disocy, given in accordance with the campaign terms, produces contractual effects: the sale is perfected on the terms communicated and under the Terms of Service.

Advance payments and financial consequences

A partial or advance payment formalizes the reservation operationally. The precise financial regime (reversal, retention, penalties if any) is governed exclusively by the Refund Policy. This policy does not reproduce the refund procedure.

Cancellation by Disocy

Disocy may cancel a campaign or an individual reservation for justified reasons, such as technical infeasibility, inability to procure materials, failure to meet quality requirements, mandatory legal requirements or force majeure. If cancellation gives rise to economic consequences, these will be applied according to the Refund Policy.

Minimum contents linked to the reservation

Where the campaign provides for delivery upon completion, a reservation may result in delivery of the piece and associated documentation and components. By way of guidance, that set may include:

  • the physical piece;
  • the physical certificate of authenticity;
  • the technical data sheet or equivalent documentation;
  • the primary NFC component: DiD Primary Chip, when included as mandatory in product configuration.

Optional elements such as DiD Backup Chip or DiD Card do not replace mandatory components nor change the legal nature of the reservation.

Note: the exact contents of delivery are specified in the campaign sheet or in the documentation provided at the time of purchase.

Refunds and right of withdrawal

Full rules on refunds, customer cancellations and the right of withdrawal, including deadlines and exceptions, are set out in the Refund Policy. This reserve policy records only that:

  • if the campaign does not reach the minimum threshold, amounts paid will be handled under the Refund Policy;
  • if the customer cancels before production starts, the request will be processed through the Refund Policy;
  • the existence of a physical certificate or an NFC component does not by itself exclude the right of withdrawal where applicable law recognises it.

Verification, ownership and support

If the reservation includes digital identity elements (for example, DiD), those elements may affect verification of the piece and ownership. The general legal framework on ownership, transfer and effects of manipulation is set out in the Terms of Service.

For incidents concerning verification, ownership or technical support, use the channels listed on the Contact page or contact support@disocy.com. When relevant, prepare the applicable identifiers: order number and, if any, the piece DiD number.

Data processing

Reservation management may involve processing personal data necessary for performance of the relevant pre-contractual or contractual relationship. Details and legal bases for those processing activities are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Spain / European Union. Any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction stated in the Legal Notice.
